DroneShield Launches Mission Ready Services to Support Counter-UAS and Drone Defense Operations

DroneShield has launched Mission Ready Services, a new lifecycle support offering designed to help customers maintain counter-UAS operational readiness, train operators and manage deployed DroneShield systems throughout their service life.

The new program combines software updates, eLearning, technical support and centralized digital services through the DroneShield Access Portal. Mission Ready Services will be available globally across the company’s existing and next-generation counter-drone product lines.

DroneShield Mission Ready Services Supports Counter-UAS Operations

DroneShield developed Mission Ready Services to address the requirements that emerge after counter-drone systems have been purchased and deployed.

According to the company, more than 4,100 software-enabled DroneShield devices are already deployed in the field.

The new lifecycle program is intended to help military, government, public safety, critical infrastructure and commercial security customers maintain those systems as technologies and drone threats continue to evolve.

“Counter-drone capability is no longer defined solely by hardware performance,” said Angus Bean, Chief Executive Officer of DroneShield.

“Mission success depends on keeping systems updated, operators trained and support available when it matters most. Mission Ready Services reflects DroneShield’s commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire operational lifecycle, so a system deployed today is as ready in three years as the day it was fielded.”

Four Services Form the Mission Ready Framework

DroneShield Mission Ready Services is organized around four primary capability areas:

  • Software updates
  • eLearning
  • Technical support
  • DroneShield Access Portal

Together, these services are intended to provide customers with a single lifecycle framework for maintaining systems, training personnel and accessing technical resources.

Software Updates Address Evolving Drone Threats

The software component provides customers with continued access to new releases and updates for supported DroneShield systems.

These include:

  • Feature enhancements
  • Security updates
  • Performance improvements
  • Software releases
  • Evolving counter-drone capabilities

DroneShield said maintaining current software versions helps customers keep deployed systems optimized for emerging threats and changing operational requirements.

The service also consolidates software renewal and lifecycle management.

Counter-UAS eLearning Supports Operator Proficiency

Mission Ready Services includes on-demand eLearning for operators, administrators and leadership personnel.

Training begins with foundational device operation and progresses toward mission-specific applications.

The self-paced format is designed to allow organizations to provide recurring training throughout the operational lifecycle rather than relying exclusively on instruction delivered when systems are initially fielded.

Courses include completion tracking and certification to support readiness management.

Technical Support Targets Reduced System Downtime

The program also provides customers with access to specialist technical support.

DroneShield said dedicated teams will provide:

  • Counter-drone technical expertise
  • Technical triage
  • Troubleshooting assistance
  • Accelerated issue resolution

Basic and extended support options will be available depending on customer requirements.

The objective is to resolve technical issues more quickly and minimize system downtime during critical operations.

DroneShield Access Portal Centralizes Lifecycle Management

The DroneShield Access Portal serves as the digital gateway for Mission Ready Services.

Customers can use the portal to access and manage:

  • Technical documentation
  • eLearning
  • Subscription renewals
  • Technical support
  • Planning resources

The portal also includes resources intended to help organizations manage their broader counter-drone architectures.

Annual Service Covers Existing and Future DroneShield Products

Mission Ready Services will be offered as an annually renewable service alongside DroneShield products.

Existing software subscription customers will transition to Mission Ready Services when their current subscriptions reach their next renewal date, while retaining access to applicable software updates.

“Customers are making significant investments in counter-drone capabilities to protect personnel, assets, infrastructure, and operations,” said Louis Gamarra, Chief Commercial Officer of DroneShield.

“Mission Ready Services ensures those investments continue delivering value throughout the life of the system while enabling teams to operate with greater confidence and effectiveness.”

DroneShield Expands Global Counter-UAS Support Infrastructure

Mission Ready Services will be available globally for both current and next-generation DroneShield products.

The company said it plans to continue expanding support offerings and service options as its worldwide customer support infrastructure grows.

The launch extends DroneShield’s counter-UAS offering beyond individual hardware and software products by providing an ongoing framework for maintaining technology, updating software, training operators and supporting deployed systems throughout their operational lifecycle.
