Omnisys, an Ondas Inc. company, has introduced BRO-API, a bidirectional integration layer connecting its BRO Battle Resource Optimization platform directly with existing C2 and C4I systems. The Omnisys BRO-API mission optimization capability is designed to continuously update operational plans using live battlefield information and reduce command decision cycles from hours to minutes or less.
The new interface expands BRO from a primarily separate mission-planning platform into an integrated operational capability that exchanges information with command-and-control systems throughout mission execution.
Omnisys BRO-API Mission Optimization Connects with C2 Systems
BRO uses situational awareness data from C4I systems to provide commanders with tools for evaluating and optimizing operational plans.
According to Omnisys, the platform supports:
- Situational understanding
- Evaluation of operational alternatives
- Sensor deployment optimization
- Effector deployment optimization
- Generation of optimized Courses of Action
With BRO-API, these capabilities can remain connected to existing command-and-control systems throughout an active mission.
Omnisys said the integration supports the Decision and Act phases of the OODA loop by continuously exchanging operational information.
Live Data Supports Continuous Mission Re-Planning
BRO-API continuously receives updated operational information from connected systems.
Data can include:
- Blue Force deployment
- Blue Force readiness
- Operational events
- Red Force information
The system uses this information to generate optimized recommendations covering areas such as deployment, routing and frequency allocation.
Mission re-planning results and operational insights are then provided directly to the command-and-control system.
According to Omnisys, this synchronization allows operational plans to be continuously adjusted as battlefield conditions change.
BRO-API Designed for Defense Networks
The Omnisys BRO-API mission optimization interface is designed for operational defense environments, including classified and disconnected networks.
The system supports:
- Controlled permissions
- Secure message logging
- Standard RESTful integration
- Defense interoperability principles
Omnisys said the interface is also designed to support future compatibility with NATO and U.S. military standards.
System Supports Mission Lifecycle and After-Action Review
BRO-API is designed to maintain information across the complete lifecycle of an operational mission rather than limiting optimization to active mission execution.

The BRO suite is operational and combat-proven with the IDF and is under contract with several NATO customers in Europe, according to Omnisys.
