UNIFY.C2 Demonstrates Multi-Domain Unmanned Systems Integration at CENTCOM EXTiC 26-2

UNIFY.C2, developed by Spatial Persistent Software, participated in U.S. Central Command’s Experimentation: Transforming in Contact 26-2 event, demonstrating rapid integration of multiple sensor technologies in an operational environment. The UNIFY.C2 unmanned systems integration demonstration connected six sensor modalities from multiple vendors and combined their detections and tracks into a unified common operating picture.

The CENTCOM event was conducted in July at the Playas Training and Research Center in New Mexico in collaboration with the Defense Innovation Unit.

UNIFY.C2 Unmanned Systems Integration Tested at EXTiC 26-2

UNIFY.C2 was one of 21 companies selected to participate in EXTiC 26-2 following a competitive review of 149 industry submissions.

The event evaluated technologies through operationally relevant scenarios involving:

  • Electronic warfare
  • GPS-denied operations
  • Autonomous systems
  • Coordinated drone swarms

According to UNIFY.C2, the objective was to evaluate how individual technologies could be integrated into end-to-end military operations and perform under contested conditions.

Six Sensor Modalities Integrated During Event

During EXTiC 26-2, UNIFY.C2 integrated six sensor modalities from multiple vendors that had not previously been connected to the platform.

The integrations were completed in the operational environment during the event.

UNIFY.C2 then combined detections and tracks from the different systems into a common operating picture, providing operators with real-time sensor fusion and information for identifying, assessing and responding to changing airspace activity.

“EXTiC 26-2 demonstrated that interoperability cannot remain theoretical,” said Jerry McGee, CEO of UNIFY.C2. “In contested environments, operators need diverse sensors and systems brought together quickly into one operational picture. Integrating six different modalities from multiple vendors, never integrated before, demonstrated the platform’s ability to adapt and perform under real-world operational constraints.”

Counter-UAS Platform Provides Vendor-Neutral C2

UNIFY.C2 is a vendor-neutral Counter-UAS Mission Command Platform designed to coordinate multiple elements of counter-UAS operations.

According to the company, the platform coordinates:

  • Detection
  • Assessment
  • Decision-making
  • Response
  • Sensors
  • Agencies
  • Effectors

The system is designed to bring technologies from different vendors into a single interoperable command environment without increasing complexity for operators.

UNIFY.C2 supports defense, public safety, law enforcement and critical infrastructure missions.

CENTCOM Event Evaluates Technology Under Operational Conditions

EXTiC supports the Department of Defense’s broader Transforming in Contact initiative, which evaluates emerging technologies alongside operational forces in representative environments.

According to UNIFY.C2, CENTCOM and the Defense Innovation Unit use realistic mission scenarios to evaluate potential capabilities and develop repeatable and cost-effective methods for assessing future technologies.

The initiative is intended to accelerate the transition of promising technologies from experimentation into operational use.

“The objective is not to give operators another standalone screen,” McGee said. “It is to reduce complexity by bringing detections, tracks, and decision-relevant information into a single command environment at mission speed. We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside government and industry partners focused on improving interoperability and operational readiness.”
