Axon Vision and ParaZero Launch ForceField Counter-UAS System for Non-Destructive Drone Interception

ParaZero Technologies and Axon Vision have introduced a new ForceField counter UAS interception configuration that combines ParaZero’s DefendAir Net Pod with Axon Vision’s ForceField EDGE AI-powered defense system. The integrated solution is designed to provide non-destructive counter-UAS capabilities for critical infrastructure, airports, energy facilities and other sensitive locations.

According to the companies, the new configuration expands the ForceField family by adding a controlled, net-based physical interception capability to its existing operational architecture.

ForceField Counter UAS Interception Adds Net-Based Response

The integrated system combines ForceField’s detection and decision-making capabilities with ParaZero’s DefendAir interception technology.

The companies said the solution includes:

• Passive electro-optical threat detection
• AI-driven threat analysis
• Engagement management
• Man-on-the-Loop control
• Autonomous net-based physical interception

According to ParaZero and Axon Vision, the system is intended to provide a controlled, non-explosive response option for environments where physical interception is preferred.

Counter-UAS System Expands ForceField Applications

The companies said the original ForceField configuration was developed to protect maneuvering forces using an integrated kinetic response.

The DefendAir-enabled configuration broadens potential applications to locations where explosive effects, fragmentation or rounds downrange may be operationally undesirable.

According to the companies, the modular architecture maintains ForceField’s:

• EDGE AI core
• Operational workflow
• Decision-making architecture

while adding an additional interception option through the DefendAir Net Pod.

Integrated System Validated During Trials

ParaZero and Axon Vision recently demonstrated the integrated configuration during Axon Vision’s trial campaign in Israel.

According to the companies, the demonstration successfully validated interoperability between the ForceField and DefendAir systems under operationally representative conditions.

The companies also announced the signing of a non-binding memorandum of understanding establishing a framework for continued integration, development and potential commercialization of the combined capability. They noted that future activities remain subject to definitive agreements.
