Red Cat Holdings has completed integration work with C3A Solutions to connect its Black Widow small unmanned aircraft system with OBERON-enabled tactical fires networks. The Black Widow OBERON integration is intended to improve interoperability by enabling the aircraft to function as a forward intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensor within connected military fires architectures.
According to Red Cat, the integration supports the movement of sensor data, including video and targeting information, into tactical fires workflows.
Black Widow OBERON Integration Expands Tactical Connectivity
C3A Solutions specializes in tactical systems integration focused on digital fires, tactical communications and operational network integration for Army units operating at the tactical edge.
Through the completed integration, the Black Widow unmanned aircraft system can serve as a forward ISR sensor within OBERON-enabled tactical fires networks.
According to Red Cat, the integration allows the platform to provide:
- Video data
- Targeting information
- Sensor data for tactical fires workflows
