Axon Vision Launches ForceField Counter-UAS System for Mobile Military Protection

Axon Vision has introduced Axon Vision ForceField counter UAS, a protection solution developed to defend maneuvering forces against aerial threats, including FPV drones that cannot be countered by electronic warfare. The company said the system combines threat detection, analysis and response into a single operational solution built on its EDGE AI technologies.

According to Axon Vision, ForceField is designed to protect moving forces, military vehicles and operational positions while reducing the need to integrate multiple independent systems.

ForceField combines the complete operational cycle into one system through:

• AI-driven threat analysis

The company said the compact solution is designed to rapidly complete the operational cycle while eliminating the need for multiple separate protection systems.

Counter-UAS System Targets FPV Drone Threats

According to Axon Vision, the increasing use of first-person view (FPV) drones in modern combat has created demand for protection systems capable of addressing threats that electronic warfare cannot defeat.

ForceField was developed specifically to counter fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones and other aerial threats that cannot be neutralized through electronic warfare.

The company said the system provides:

• Passive daytime and nighttime threat detection
• Operation without emitting signals that could reveal the protected force’s location
• Independent operation without continuous communications
• No reliance on external detection systems

EDGE AI Enables Modular Force Protection

Axon Vision said ForceField is designed for rapid installation on existing platforms without requiring extensive integration into core vehicle systems.

According to the company, the system uses standard weapons and ammunition, eliminating the need for dedicated interceptors or specialized logistics.

Its modular architecture allows customers to deploy:

• The complete ForceField protection system
• The detection and EDGE AI layer integrated with existing weapon systems

The company stated that the solution is based on EDGE AI technologies developed through several Israeli Ministry of Defense programs.

Live-Fire Trials Demonstrated Counter-Drone Capabilities

Axon Vision said it completed development of ForceField following a series of live-fire trials conducted under operationally representative conditions.

According to the company, the trials included intercepting FPV drone targets and demonstrated the system’s ability to:

• Detect aerial threats
• Track targets
• Neutralize threats in real time

Company Expands Operational Solutions Portfolio

Axon Vision said the launch of ForceField represents an expansion from supplying EDGE AI capabilities for defense programs and system manufacturers to developing complete operational solutions.

Alongside the full system, the company plans to continue offering its detection and EDGE AI technologies as modular components for integration into existing military platforms and weapon systems.

The company also announced it is conducting evaluation activities with customers and strategic partners in Israel and international markets. Axon Vision said ForceField is a key element of its expanding collaboration with Leonardo DRS, with a focus on advancing the company’s solutions in the U.S. market.
