Grasshopper Air Mobility & Jetpak Forge Express Drone Delivery Partnership in Nordics

Grasshopper Air Mobility and Jetpak Group AB have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly explore the integration of autonomous aerial logistics into Jetpak’s time-critical delivery operations, marking a major milestone in next-generation express delivery solutions for Sweden and the broader Nordic region.

This collaboration positions Jetpak as the first express parcel logistics company in Europe to partner with a heavy-payload eVTOL drone developer, adopting the use of advanced air mobility for rapid, point-to-point deliveries in both urban and rural contexts. The partnership aims to unlock new efficiencies in the express logistics sector, expanding Jetpak’s last-mile capabilities through high-speed aerial access while reducing delivery cost, ground congestion and carbon emissions.

Jetpak, known for its same-day, door-to-door delivery services across the Nordics and Europe, brings
decades of experience in multimodal logistics and operational excellence. Grasshopper contributes
cutting-edge drone technology such as its “flying cargo van” architecture, combining long-range flight up to 600 km with autonomous ground mobility to deliver cargo up to 350 kg directly into warehouses, terminals, and customer access points without requiring handovers or specialized infrastructure.

The collaboration will focus on assessing express delivery mission profiles, outlining infrastructure
requirements, collaborating on regulatory frameworks, defining product specifications and technical needs for operational integration as well as pursuing pilot projects, public funding opportunities, and joint product development initiatives.

“With Jetpak and Grasshopper, two highly forward-thinking companies are now jointly investigating how we can utilize advanced aerial mobility technologies to transport goods across the Nordics. The beauty of this collaboration is that we are going to develop solutions for real current and future use cases to grow the economy. Together, we want to push the boundaries of what’s possible in express delivery and build a more efficient and accessible aerial logistics layer,” said Jakob Saalfrank, CEO of Grasshopper Air Mobility.
“Applying long-distance heavy-cargo AAM for package delivery in Sweden is a unique opportunity for
Europe to pioneer and take a lead in a critical industry of the future.”

This agreement marks a landmark step in shaping Europe’s low-altitude economy and opens the door to a new category of autonomous express delivery. As pioneers in their respective domains, Jetpak and
Grasshopper are setting the foundation for a resilient, fast, and sustainable logistics layer fit for the 2030s
and beyond.
