High Lander and Sentrycs Collaborate for Advanced Airspace Management and Threat Mitigation

High Lander, a prominent drone fleet management and uncrewed traffic management software provider, has teamed up with Sentrycs, a global leader in integrated counter-drone technology, to offer authorities a comprehensive U-space management and enforcement solution.

As drone usage continues to rise worldwide, ensuring airspace safety has become a top priority for public safety agencies, from aviation regulators to municipal authorities. Managing aerial traffic, safeguarding no-fly zones near airports and air taxi routes, mitigating aerial conflicts, and neutralizing airborne threats are essential challenges in this era of increased drone activity.

Sentrycs’ solution excels at detecting drone activity, extracting user identification from drones, and safely grounding unapproved drones by taking control away from their remote operators. Its operation doesn’t rely on line of sight, making it well-suited for urban environments where drone activity is concentrated.

In this collaboration, Sentrycs’ technology is integrated into High Lander’s uncrewed traffic management solution, Vega UTM. Vega UTM is a drone-agnostic, automated software that provides real-time monitoring of all airborne activity across any territory. It autonomously approves or denies flights, suggests alternative flight plans, and offers operators up-to-the-minute airspace data notifications.

By combining their capabilities, Sentrycs and High Lander now offer a comprehensive solution. This integrated system autonomously monitors real-time airspace activity, coordinates flight plans at scale, detects unauthorized flights and identifies their pilots’ locations, and ensures that unauthorized drones land safely with minimal impact. This all-encompassing solution covers every aspect of drone monitoring, detection, and threat management, enhancing airspace security significantly.

Alon Abelson, CEO of High Lander, commented, “We are very excited by this partnership. These are two solutions that complement each other perfectly. Vega UTM sets a global standard for consolidated airspace awareness, and Sentrycs’ impressive counter-drone technology empowers authorities to directly enforce U-space management decisions. Working together, these solutions create a powerful package capable of combating noncompliant airspace activities while enabling a drone-based economy that operates in harmony with crewed aviation.”

Yoav Zaltzman, CEO of Sentrycs, added, “Sentrycs’ mission is to provide authorities with a safe method of neutralizing the risks posed by unauthorized drone operators, and as such, collaborations with UTM providers are central to our roadmap. Combining our state-of-the-art counter-drone technology with High Lander’s leading traffic management solution enables us to contribute towards a safer airspace for drone operators and anyone they encounter. This partnership will also have a significant effect on drone adoption and a positive drone economy worldwide, by empowering regulatory authorities to effectively coordinate aerial activity in all its forms, in urban areas, and at any range.”
