BlueHalo Strengthens its Counter-UAS Position Through Acquisition of Verus Technology Group

BlueHalo, a prominent provider of critical capabilities and advanced technologies across Space, Air, and Cyber domains, has announced its acquisition of Verus Technology Group, Inc., a leading developer, designer, and integrator of counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (c-UAS) products that leverage cutting-edge digital signal processing (DSP) and radio frequency (RF) technologies. Verus’s key product, SkyView, is a passive RF-based system that offers best-in-class detection, identification, tracking, and telemetry extraction of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS).

With Verus onboard, BlueHalo can complement its existing Titan c-UAS solution that utilizes AI/ML and RF technology with SkyView and its proprietary platform, software, and technology. The acquisition will empower the combined entity to deliver a superior range of products to support the warfighter in the constantly-evolving next-gen battlefield and defend critical infrastructure against adversarial threats.

Jonathan Moneymaker, Chief Executive Officer of BlueHalo, expressed his excitement at bringing Verus into the fold and delivering an integrated and superior set of solutions that protect customers from the ongoing c-UAS threat. Meanwhile, John Abbey, CEO and Founder of Verus, looks forward to the partnership with BlueHalo and delivering innovative solutions to customers.

The acquisition is expected to help BlueHalo invest more resources in bringing the best c-UAS solutions to the market and combat the emerging threat posed by drone technology.
