AirData Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Blue Innovation Co. Join Forces to Launch Japanese-Language Fleet Management Platform for UAVs
AirData and Blue Innovation have announced a partnership to provide a Japanese-language version of AirData’s industry-leading fleet management platform for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This localized and translated interface for AirData will aid commercial pilots in Japan to navigate the compliance and safety landscape for UAVs with ease. The partnership will allow Japanese-speaking pilots and fleet operators to access the fully translated interface and features tailored to meet regulations set by the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB). This project also lays the foundation for future translations of the AirData platform, with the aim of accelerating drone adoption in a safe and compliant manner globally.
AirData CEO Eran Steiner said, “Blue Innovation has been a great partner in this launch of AirData in Japan. Both of our organizations share a passion for promoting the growth of safe and successful drone use.” The platform, which is used by over 270,000 customers worldwide, enables mission planning, drone and pilot management, and regulatory compliance. The partnership with Blue Innovation, a leader in Japan’s rapidly growing unmanned vehicle industry, was formed in response to the changes in Japan’s drone industry regulation and technology. The platform was made possible through an integration with JUIDA’s Member Management System, which was built on Blue Innovation’s Blue Earth Platform.
Blue Innovation CEO Takayuki Kumada said, “We greatly value our relationship with AirData. They are an industry leader in drone data management and compliance and share our passion for advancing the unmanned aircraft industry. Together, we believe we can make it easier for JUIDA members to run their drone operations and create a positive relationship with regulatory authorities.” Blue Innovation is a pioneer in the use of drones for commercial purposes and provides the Blue Earth Platform, a platform that integrates autonomous devices such as robots, unmanned vehicles, and smart sensors. The company has a long-standing relationship with JUIDA, both organizations having a common goal of promoting the future of unmanned aerial vehicles in Japan. They have collaborated in the past to develop educational packages and commercial solutions
