SkyeBrowse, the leading drone reality capture platform known for its speed and ease of use, has introduced TacBrowse, a powerful situational awareness tool designed to deliver real-time, actionable intelligence to tactical teams during missions.
According to Bobby Ouyang, co-founder and CEO of SkyeBrowse, “Our platform has long been a reliable tool for quickly and effectively planning tactical operations. With TacBrowse, we wanted to take it one step further and provide real-time data during mission execution, giving tactical teams the situational awareness they need to make critical decisions and ensure officer safety.”
TacBrowse is built on SkyeBrowse’s proprietary technology that leverages videogrammetry to create 3D models from drone video. Incident commanders can upload a model of the incident scene to the TacBrowse web application, and all tactical team members can then access the mission on the TacBrowse mobile app, which plots their GPS coordinates onto the 3D model in real time. This allows incident commanders to monitor the movements of team members and view the 3D model from the web browser.
In addition to real-time location tracking, TacBrowse offers several other features, including the ability to annotate the model with notes and measurements, view the slope map between two points, and virtually place oneself in the model using the perspective tool from the profile panel.
TacBrowse is now available as an add-on to SkyeBrowse’s premium services, starting at $39 per person per month. For more information, visit skyebrowse.com/tacbrowse.
