Altitude Angel, the world’s leading UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) technology provider, today announced it has welcomed Airvid into its Global Partnership Programme.
Established in 2013, Airvid has a wealth of experience within the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles) sector, providing services to a wide array of industries including construction, oil & gas, energy, telecommunications and archaeology. Based in Athens, Greece, Airvid has a strong and effective presence throughout the Mediterranean region.
The news of Airvid joining the Global Partnership Programme has quickly followed the recent announcement Spark Mobility were the first organization to join the initiative.
On Airvid joining the Global Partnership Programme, Richard Ellis, Altitude Angel, Chief Business Officer, said: “We’re excited to welcome Airvid to Altitude Angel’s Global Partnership Programme. With Airvid’s extensive experience of unmanned operations and industry connections coupled with Altitude Angel’s market leading platform, GuardianUTM, both companies complement each other to enable safe, complex flight operations.”
Spyros Kokkinakis, Airvid, CEO, added: “We are overwhelmed to be part of the Altitude Angel’s family of representatives. We are very enthusiastic to be part of a team thriving in the UTM technologies sector and looking very forward to providing the best of products, services and support to the unmanned aviation world.”
The Global Partnership Programme brings together Altitude Angel’s world leading UTM technology with agencies who have regional and local relationships with regulators, organizations and enterprises, coupled with a strong understanding of domestic markets across a wide spectrum of industries.
Once in place, the partnerships work with interested parties on the introduction of Altitude Angel’s GuardianUTM platform to enable UAV technologies to operate safely and securely. In turn, this allows drone pilots to not only undertake more complex missions, but carry out BVLOS flights in integrated airspace.
