Drone Complier announced today that it has partnered with the Alliance for Systems Safety of UAS through Research Excellence (ASSURE) to support drone operations and compliance management.
ASSURE, a consortium of the nation’s premier academic institutions is engaged in unmanned systems research and testing. The resulting data serves to inform FAA regulations concerning drones, enabling broader and safer unmanned flight. To facilitate these advances, ASSURE has partnered with Drone Complier to support operational compliance, flight operations, system maintenance, approval authority, and data storage for their drone research programs.
Drone Complier is a cross-platform solution that allows universities to manage their pilots and hardware, ensure compliance with regulators and operating authorities, and maintain rigorous documentation in an efficient and intuitive manner. By enabling users to easily manage the approval process, this software allows universities to reduce their risk exposure and compliance management workload while providing their students and faculty with an industry-leading flight safety management system. While in the field, drone pilots can verify airspace, check weather and complete customized pre- and post-flight checklists, right from their mobile devices, in a cloud-based architecture with full administrative visibility.
“We are very pleased to have been selected by ASSURE to provide such a critical enabling capability,” said Wayne Rochat, Drone Complier CEO. “Our partnership with members like Embry Riddle and Oregon State University has enabled us to prove and enhance our solution
with recognized thought leaders and to make that solution available worldwide.”
